BeerPass® FAQ

What do I get for my subscription?

For the cost of your subscription, you get access to our cultivated list of bars and restaurants, with detailed information and recommendations for each, along with one free draft beer every day you visit one of our partner bars.

Can I choose the beer I get for free?

No, the participating bars get to choose which beer to give you. They can give you an option if they choose, but one choice must be a .5 liter draft beer if one exists on the menu.

How does the app work?

You show your golden screen to the server when you order your beer. They will put in the code and your screen will turn black. That beer will not be added to your bill.

What kinds of bars and restaurants are participating?

We have many different partners with a variety of great offerings. Check out the map list to see opening times, informational icons and a short description of each place. Click on an interesting choice for more information, links to their website, social, and directions on how to get there! Choose where to get your free beer based on whether you are in the mood for Indian, Australian, American, Irish, grill, burgers, vegan, cocktails, craft beer, tea, a classy dinner, a cool hangout spot, board games, or even bowling!

What happens after I get the free beer?

Your app will be locked until 6am the next day. Most importantly, don’t forget to tip your server! If you enjoyed the service and the atmosphere, stay and see what else they have on the menu. Don’t forget to check the bar’s in-app page for BeerPass® recommendations.

Can I show the app when I pay, on my way out the door?

No, you must show the app when you are ordering the beer that you would like for free. This way they can enter it in their system as a BeerPass® beer.

Can I go to the same bar multiple times in a month?

Yes, we have some great places and no doubt you will find a new favorite! However, we do hope that if you love the place you will support them by seeing what else they have to offer after you’ve received your free beer. Also, we do recommend trying out as many places as possible, because we partner with a large variety of very unique bars and restaurants.

I would like to see more bars in my area or with a certain offering.

Send us an email or reach out on social! We are adding more partner bars every day but we would love your input or thoughts about places you think we should contact.

Can I use multiple emails or subscriptions?

No, there is a strict limit of one subscription per user. Anyone found abusing the app will be banned.

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you’ve agreed to monthly recurring payments, go to settings and simply press “Cancel Subscription”. You will continue having access to free beer every day until the subscription period is finished, but you will not be charged again and your access will be removed when the subscription period is over.

Something in the app did not work quite right, or I had a bad experience at the restaurant.
